Narrative: In four pages (or less!) or in a 10-15 minute simple video or audio file please respond to the following questions

  1. Briefly, share your organization or group’s history, mission, values, focus, structure and leadership as it pertains to this grant opportunity.

  2. Explain the issue/s or challenge/s your program is responding to and why it is important to the group and your broader community.

  3. Describe how your group combines youth leadership, urban greening and social justice efforts to confront these issues or challenge/s. Include examples of moments of learning, success or joy the group and/or community has experienced through these efforts.

  4. Briefly share how leadership, including staff and Board, reflect the community your organization works with.

  5. Describe what the Rooted in Justice funds will help your group accomplish over two years (both internal organizational development and external programming growth welcomed) and how the youth participants may engage with any funds they may be provided to manage.

  6. How will you define and document your group’s success?
