Current Funding Priorities

For Organizations working outside this space:

Currently, we do not have plans to support grant programs in areas other than those detailed in the priority areas above. In the recent past, this website was collected inquires for urban agriculture in DC, organizations opposing fracking, environmental redevelopment in Detroit, and teacher professional development in Environmental Education. These grant making programs are no longer actively soliciting grantees. However, we appreciate the opportunity to keep abreast of compelling work in the field and would love to hear what you are working on. This is especially true for past Cedar Tree grantees working in environmental health, sustainable agriculture, environmental education, conservation or environmental justice. If you are an organization within the U.S. working on environmental issues not directly related to Cedar Tree’s current priority interests or Initiatives, you can share a brief summary of your work with us here. Program staff review submissions on a quarterly basis and use them as a learning tool. Thank you for taking the time to inform us about the valuable work you are doing.
